This is the proposed palette for Ubuntu Land Trust and Developments — and for everything we put out under the Common Ground Initiative banner. It is intentionally earthen: aged savannah cream, deep warm umber, and a single savannah-gold accent. No corporate blue, no ceremonial purple in the load-bearing 80%.
Aged savannah cream, warm umber, savannah gold, ink. Earthen — fired clay, deep loam, sun — not corporate blue. Eighty percent of everything we put out should use only these.
Each has a defined job — never deployed decoratively. Soil and terracotta for cross-sections and document scans; moss for success states; royal and purple reserved for ceremony and signature programs.
Every approved pairing meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast for body text. Ratios shown for the foreground/background combination at 14 px / 400 weight.
⚠ Gold on Paper passes for large text only (≥ 24 px / 18.66 px bold). For body, use Gold on Umber.
